Terms & Community Conditions

About these terms

These terms govern use of the United Factions website, forum, Minecraft community and paid supporter services. United Factions is operated by iWally IT, Klokjeslaan 95, 3601 HD Maarssen, the Netherlands (Dutch Chamber of Commerce 50785680; VAT ID NL002257929B18). By creating an account or using the community services, you agree to these terms and the published server and community rules.

Your account

  • Provide accurate information and keep your login, Discord and Minecraft accounts secure.
  • Do not sell, share, impersonate, steal or circumvent an account or identity link.
  • Tell staff promptly if you believe an account has been compromised.
  • Identity unlinking may require a private staff review to protect accounts, purchases and entitlements.

Community conduct and content

You remain responsible for content you post. You grant United Factions a non-exclusive permission to host, display and technically process that content for operating the community. Do not post unlawful content, personal data you are not entitled to share, malware, threats, harassment, cheats or material that infringes another person’s rights.

Staff may edit, hide or remove content and may warn, mute, suspend or ban accounts when reasonably necessary to enforce the rules, protect players or secure the service. Context, logs and available evidence are considered. Current public punishments and appeal instructions are available from the Rules page. Sensitive evidence should be shared privately with staff, not posted publicly.

Discord announcement bridge

Posts made by approved staff authors in the United Factions #announcements channel may be copied automatically to the public Announcements forum. The forum copy identifies the Discord author, contains the announcement as it appeared when processed and links back to the original Discord message. It may also trigger the normal forum notification in Discord.

  • Staff authors must have permission to publish any text, images, files or links included in an announcement.
  • Edits or deletions made later in Discord are not guaranteed to change the forum copy automatically. Ask staff to correct or remove an outdated copy.
  • The announcement bot is separate from the login bot. It does not process logins or direct messages and is restricted to reading the announcement channel.

Game service and seasons

The game world, features, rankings, economy and season rules can change for balance, maintenance or security. Availability is not guaranteed and maintenance, resets or data loss can occur. We take reasonable operational precautions, but you should not treat in-game items, faction land, statistics or ranks as property with real-world monetary value.

Announcements about relics, points, rankings, rewards or prizes become part of the applicable season rules only when they are presented as final and effective. Published eligibility, scoring, tie-break, claim and delivery conditions apply. Balance or anti-abuse changes may be made prospectively when reasonably needed for fair play.

Store and supporter subscriptions

United Factions supporter packs are paid digital monthly subscription services supplied by iWally IT; they are not charitable donations. The checkout shows the Minecraft recipient, pack, price, tax treatment, payment method and total before payment. Consumer prices are in euros and include VAT. No physical product is shipped.

  • The first payment is charged when the order is placed. The subscription renews automatically each month until cancelled.
  • The advertised entitlement is available only while the subscription is active and paid. Supporter packs do not have real-world cash value and cannot be traded or redeemed for cash.
  • Only one active supporter subscription is allowed per Minecraft account. A gift is delivered to the recipient entered at checkout, and that recipient remains attached to future renewals.
  • Customers under 18 must have a parent or legal guardian authorise the purchase.

Delivery, cancellation, the 14-day withdrawal period, refunds and payment problems are explained on Payments, delivery & cancellations. Customers may cancel online in My Account or contact us. Statutory consumer rights are not limited by these community terms.

Attempting chargeback fraud, payment abuse or unauthorised gifting may lead to an account or entitlement hold while staff investigates. A gameplay punishment does not automatically erase mandatory consumer rights or accounting records.

Intellectual property

United Factions branding, original website material and community code remain with their respective owners. Minecraft, Mojang and Microsoft names and assets belong to their respective owners. United Factions is an independent fan community and is not affiliated with, endorsed by or associated with Mojang Studios or Microsoft.

Privacy

Our Privacy Policy explains which personal data we use, for what purposes, how long it is kept and what rights you have.

Liability and applicable law

Nothing in these terms excludes liability or rights that cannot legally be excluded. To the extent permitted by law, United Factions is not responsible for indirect loss caused by outages, third-party platforms, player conduct or loss of in-game progress. Dutch law applies. Consumers retain any mandatory protections and competent forum available to them under applicable consumer law.

Changes and contact
